Looking at sculpture. Smith-Gilbert Gardens is proud to be one of a select number of gardens in the United States that includes sculpture as part of its interest. While walking the garden children will be engaged to look at the sometimes quite colorful 30+ sculptures thoughtfully placed on the garden grounds. Children will be engaged in looking at sculpture, thinking about the materials used and an artist’s perspective. Bring your clipboard or journal and pencil to make some sketches of your own!
