The I-75 overpass on Noonday Creek Trail, identified by trail users and area residents as a source of unease and an eyesore, was a magnet for graffiti. Town Center Community saw this as an opportunity to create a sense of place and a more welcoming experience for trail users and area residents.

After seeking necessary approvals, painting of the Cobb County’s first bridge mural began. Drake Arnold, well known for his murals that foster an appreciation for the natural world and have a positive community impact, designed, and painted the mural. It was finished on July 19, 2022, and the artist’s name for the mural is “Convergence” as the mural stands at the convergence of art (mural), nature (trail) and infrastructure (concrete bridge).
