Tickets
The Butterfly House will be open Tuesday-Saturday, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. In an effort to provide the best experience possible for our visitors, tickets can be purchased within time slots. The time slots are available for every hour, and we anticipate your visit in the Butterfly House to take 15-20 minutes.
You will receive a ticket to be collected at the Butterfly House when you check in at the Gardens. Your butterfly house entry is timed specifically.
We are charging $1 per ticket to the Butterfly House this year. This charge helps greatly offset our costs to build and open the Butterfly House. Each butterfly costs anywhere from $8-$10!
Everyone must have an admission ticket along with their Butterfly House ticket to be permitted inside.
Parking
We kindly ask that every visitor park in our main parking lot on Pine Mountain Road. You will then walk up the sidewalk and check in inside the Hiram Butler House.
If you have a handicap placard, there are accessible spaces in front of the Hiram Butler House. In these instances, you may drive up the main driveway and will see the handicap parking spaces on your left. 1 space is reserved for loading/unloading.
*If spaces are full, you may unload in front of the house and park in the main parking lot. Check-in with staff if you have any questions on arrival*
Check-In
When you arrive, please check in at the Hiram Butler House to receive your wristbands and ticket entry cards to the Butterfly House. The entry card will have a time window on it (ex. 9:00 AM-9:20 AM), to allow easy flow and access for everyone.
You will not be permitted inside the Butterfly House without a wristband or time entry card.
Inside the Butterfly House
The Butterfly House can only permit a certain number of visitors at a time. We appreciate your patience and work hard to cut any wait times down as much as possible.
The Butterfly House is not ADA-accessible. We do not permit strollers inside the Butterfly House given the smaller pathways and space for visitors.
